Playa Limon is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches of the Samana Peninsula. It is located east of Las Terrenas, within a small bay into which the Limon River flows. Why should you visit this beach? First, because of the peace there. There are no crowds of tourists here and even in high season you may not find anyone there.

Second, the beach offers white soft sand , set against the backdrop of the lush green of slender palm trees. Third, the ocean allows you to swim freely here because it does not attack the shore with high waves. You can reach Playa Limon by car. But an interesting form of reaching it can be a trip along the river . Being in Playa Limon, be sure to visit its neighbor, Playa Moron , which also offers an intimate atmosphere.

For whom?

Are you looking for a quiet, almost deserted and beautiful beach ? Playa Limon will surely meet your expectations. Here you will be able to enjoy the much-desired peace and blissful relaxation, without the company of other tourists, without the buzz of conversations or the rumbling of music from the beach bar.

Chaykovski Boutique H

We highly recommend this boutique hotel. It's really worth staying there for a longer time. First class conditions! Beautiful, comfortable interiors. Big swimming pool. Expensive, but the price included a great breakfast and very professional and helpful staff. Best of all, it's right on the beach.

Clave Verde Ecolodge

My wife and I spent three nights in Clave Verde. We really liked this area and the proximity of Playa Limon (although it's a bit to the coast and it's best to use a car). The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery. There is a swimming pool and a terrace with a vast panorama of the area. A room finished in wood with a large double bed.

El Valle Lodge

It was my most expensive accommodation in the Dominican Republic, but so worth the money! El Valle Lodge offers wonderfully arranged, rustic interiors. Wood and other natural materials dominate. Jungle around. There is also a private swimming pool. Delicious breakfasts, offering an insight into local delicacies.
Dominican Tree House Village

Dominican Tree House Village

Tree houses are my favorite accommodation option in the Dominican Republic. They are located quite close to Playa Limon and Las Galeras. In fact, you stay here in amazingly decorated houses between the treetops. Jungle around, beautiful vegetation, birds and the sounds of other animals. If someone values being close to nature, they should stay here.
