One of the most interesting, natural attractions of the Samana Peninsula is the El Limon waterfall (Salto El Limon). It cascades from the top of the Sierra de Samana. The waterfall is 40 m high and its surroundings are covered with lush green vegetation. Here you can see native species such as the royal palm and pineapples. Birds also like the area.
