Constanz

Constanza is located at an altitude of 1,200 m above sea level , which makes it the highest situated city in the whole Caribbean! It is located in the central part of the Dominican Republic and offers a much milder, if not colder, climate than the coastal towns. Constanza is also sometimes referred to as the " granary of the country ". This is due to the fact that vegetables, fruit and flowers are grown on the fertile soil around the city.

Its surroundings are exceptionally picturesque. Here you will find numerous natural wonders , such as the Aguas Blancas waterfall or the Valle Nuevo scientific reserve.
