Llandudno
Just over 200 years ago, Llandudno was a typical mining town. Neither particularly pretty nor even more interesting. But one man who believed in the potential of this place was enough for Llandudno to become the best and most popular resort in all of Wales. The development of the town was contributed by the construction of the railway, which connected it with other parts of Great Britain. There were also a number of investments made that made Llandudno just look attractive. The Llandudno Pier , which is a Victorian-style pier at the end of which you will find a bar, comes from this period. Take a walk along the promenade and visit the botanical garden.

Another Llandudno attraction is Great Orme . Under this name there is a headland to the north-west of the city, in which there is a former copper mine , park, Hwylfa'r Ceirw , i.e. a megalithic archaeological site. You can get to the headland by tram or cable car with charming, colorful carriages. Interestingly, there is also ... a small ski resort! Without a doubt, the Great Orme is one of the best viewpoints in the area and an ideal hiking destination. Of course, beautiful beaches also await you in Llandudno. Look for those on both the west and east coasts.
