Llandudno

Just over 200 years ago, Llandudno was a typical mining town. Neither particularly pretty nor even more interesting. But one man who believed in the potential of this place was enough for Llandudno to become the best and most popular resort in all of Wales. The development of the town was contributed by the construction of the railway, which connected it with other parts of Great Britain. There were also a number of investments made that made Llandudno just look attractive. The Llandudno Pier , which is a Victorian-style pier at the end of which you will find a bar, comes from this period. Take a walk along the promenade and visit the botanical garden.

Another Llandudno attraction is Great Orme . Under this name there is a headland to the north-west of the city, in which there is a former copper mine , park, Hwylfa'r Ceirw , i.e. a megalithic archaeological site. You can get to the headland by tram or cable car with charming, colorful carriages. Interestingly, there is also ... a small ski resort! Without a doubt, the Great Orme is one of the best viewpoints in the area and an ideal hiking destination. Of course, beautiful beaches also await you in Llandudno. Look for those on both the west and east coasts.

Who is Llandudno for?

Go to Llandudno when you want to combine relaxation with sightseeing . The city offers beautiful beaches and walking areas. But there are also interesting monuments and historical buildings waiting for you here.

Lauriston & Lawton Court Hotel

Lauriston & Lawton Court Hotel is located approximately 50 meters from the beach. There is a free parking lot, a bar with a large selection of drinks and a shared terrace for guests. Free wifi works fine. They serve an English breakfast every morning. Everything was OK.

Iris Hotel B&B Llandudno

Iris Hotel B&B Llandudno is a great option at a great price. We definitely didn't like the fact that the shower door didn't close and the sink needed to be replaced. Nevertheless, the standard was ok and the sea view compensated for the shortcomings. We recommend.

St Tudno Hotel

St Tudno Hotel is a good choice. The rooms were beautiful, large and the bed comfortable. The jacuzzi definitely stole our hearts. It's just a pity that there was no sea view, but the stay was great nonetheless. The breakfast was very good and the portions were huge. Overall, for this price, the stay was luxurious.

Four Oaks Hotel

The stay at the Four Oaks Hotel was ok, but for the price the quality could have been better. The bed was comfortable, everywhere was clean and it was nice that you could choose vegetarian options. It's a pity that the selection of drinks in the bar was limited, but the prices were attractive, so nothing to complain about. Either way, this place is cool for a weekend.

Audley Guest House

Great spot! At Audley Guest House we were greeted with home-made cake. The breakfast was very varied: fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs. And there was a hot English breakfast, which we love. The hosts will help and advise you in everything, so we will definitely come back here.
