Cardiff

Are you planning a visit to Wales? Then take the time to visit her capital. Cardiff , because we are talking about it, is not a great, proud metropolis. The atmosphere here is not overwhelming and makes you want to become a part of this unique city for a while. Cardiff has been the Welsh capital since 1955 . Its symbol is the castle , whose intriguing, gothic architecture distinguishes it from other buildings of this type in England.

Be sure to visit the port area , which has developed over the years into a lively, modern district. Cardiff also has some great museums, including The National Museum , where you can see the second, largest (after Paris) exhibition of impressionist paintings. Of course, the Welsh capital also allows you to spend time in the evening. The atmospheric pubs operating there will surely appeal to you.

Who is Cardiff for?

A visit to Cardiff is a perfect proposition for all those who like sightseeing . The castle or museums will allow you to spend time in an interesting and pleasant way. The capital also has a bit of a party character . What you will find out when visiting local pubs.

Jurys Inn Cardiff

Jurys Inn Cardiff has spacious rooms with a fridge and safe. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was atmospheric. The location of the hotel is a big plus because it is right in the center. The only downside is paid parking in the area.

Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel & Spa

We have great memories of our stay at Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel & Spa. We were upgraded to a room with a city view free of charge. The hot tub was great as was the pool. It is worth visiting the bar, where delicious drinks are served.

The Angel Hotel- Part of the Cairn Collection

Great location, right next to the stadium, so right in the center. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. You can certainly expect better quality and cleanliness for this price. This is a tip for the future to take better care of the hotel.

Novotel Cardiff Centre

The staff was very nice and helpful. Novotel Cardiff Center is strategically located close to pubs, bars and restaurants. This is important because the hotel does not serve hot meals. We certainly didn't like the £13 a day parking fee.
