Czarnohora is the highest range in the Ukrainian Carpathians group. There is also the highest peak of Ukraine , i.e. Hoverla , at 2061 m above sea level. In addition, there are a total of 5 mountains here, which exceed the height of 2000 m above sea level. The picturesque, undulating landscape is complemented by numerous glacial lakes . The most famous lake is Niesamowite and Brebenieskuł.

The greatest advantage of this region is its natural character, which has been very little changed by man. One of the best examples is the Czarnohora primary beech forest, which was entered on the UNESCO list. The local area is also protected as part of the Carpathian National Park. In the interwar period, the border between the Second Polish Republic and Czechoslovakia ran along the main Czarnohora ridge. And the historic border posts have survived to this day.

You will also like this mountain range if you like adventure tourism , wild camping and the opportunity to detach yourself from the benefits of civilization. Additionally, if your goal is to reach the "Crown of Europe" , then you cannot miss the highest peak in Ukraine - Hoverla. Bukovel is also worth visiting nearby.

Nice guesthouse that was perfect for a night before and after our trekking in Chornohora. Very nice host, everything was sparkling clean and the room was comfortable. Additionally, great breakfasts and attractive prices. I would highly recommend.

Very good mountain-style accommodation, located in a rather sparsely populated area. There is a pleasant stream flowing right next to it, and around it you will find many routes for light walks. Incredibly nice hosts, good conditions and all this at a very good price. A great place to escape from the city.

Guest House U Stasuka is located in the very center of Vorokhta. It's close to the store, and there is also a train station right next to it. But we must add that it is quite quiet, you can sleep peacefully and comfortably. The bathroom is shared between 3 rooms. But there was no one else there during our stay, so we had her at our disposal.

Tourist complex in the form of apartments in cottages. Very good conditions at an affordable price. The service is professional and we have very nice memories of our stay here. Beautiful surroundings and nicely developed area of the entire complex. We really liked the food at the local restaurant.

Zajazd Skarbivka is located in the center of Vorokhta, right next to the train station. So it's an ideal place to stay if, like us, you get here by train. There is a closed parking lot for motorists. The building has no sign, but a very nice host picked us up at the station. He also arranged for us to be transported closer to the top of Hoverli. Conditions are good and trains do not disturb you much at night. Apparently it can be cold here during the colder months, but in the summer it was pleasant.
