Kemer

Until recently, Kemer , like several other towns on the Turkish Riviera , was a sleepy fishing village. Today, although some of the inhabitants still engage in fishing, most of them live from tourism.

In recent years, numerous hotels, shops and clubs have sprung up in Kemer. Many of the local beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag certificate . It is awarded to bathing resorts that meet the highest environmental and safety standards. The advantage of the town, in addition to the beaches, is the large amount of greenery that surrounds it. The mountain slopes around Kemer are lush with vegetation , which makes the climate somewhat milder . Additionally, this resort can be a nice base for exploring Antalya .
