Liberec

Hearing the name Liberec , can you see ski jumps in your mind's eye? And correct! This fifth largest city in the Czech Republic is a famous winter and summer sports center . On the slopes of Mount Ještěd , there is actually a ski jumping facility , as well as downhill runs and lifts . In addition, on its top there is an architecturally interesting tower, which is a TV transmitter. Liberec is not only mountains, skiing or hiking along the trails. The city also has a nice old town with an impressive town hall, a pleasant botanical garden and a zoo.
