Thanks to numerous well-preserved monuments, it is often mentioned as one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic. The second place on the UNESCO list is the Palace Garden behind the palace. It was founded in the 16th century, and today you can admire over 200 species of trees and shrubs, as well as buildings such as the Pompeian Colonnade or the Chinese Pavilion. The last place on the UNESCO list is the amazing "Libosad" Flower Garden . Its area is overgrown with 20,000 annual plants arranged in various patterns. The whole is complemented by low-cut hedges, flower labyrinths, numerous monuments and fountains. The heart of the garden is a huge and amazingly decorated rotunda. A colonnade, 244 meters long, was erected along one of the walls of the garden. Be sure to climb it to admire the amazing floral carpets from above. In addition to these attractions, you will also find a pretty market square in Kobierzyce. All this meant that in 1997 he was elected the Czech Historical City of the Year.
