Brno

Autor, Travelbay
Brno is the historic capital of Moravia and now the second largest city in the Czech Republic . It is an important student center , and also combines historic and modern architecture in an interesting way. Brno's old town is small, but definitely worth a visit. Here you will find the imposing neo-Gothic cathedral of St. Peter and Paul and the Church of St. James, with the second largest ossuary in Europe. The Špilberk Castle from the 13th century rises right next to it.

It used to be one of the strictest prisons. Another example of interesting architecture is the Tugendhat villa from the late 1920s. The place is so unique that it has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Due to the fact that there are a lot of students in Brno, there are many atmospheric pubs and bars . You will try delicious Czech beer and Moravian wines there.
For whom?
If you are in Morwach, then be sure to visit Brno as well. You will have a nice time here if you like sightseeing and walking . In addition, when you value architecture from different eras, then you will definitely not be bored. In addition, Brno is also very student and youth-friendly . Lots of interesting pubs and restaurants here.
