Lago di Luzzone is an artificially created lake located in the Swiss Alps. 225 meters high, the monumental dam was built here in 1963. Currently, on its wall there is the highest artificial climbing route in the world . It consists of over 650 holds and screws that allow you to climb up to a height of 165 meters. It is intended only for experienced climbers who know how to use security measures.

The lake itself is located at an altitude of over 1,600 meters above sea level and is surrounded by peaks reaching over 3,000 meters. Thanks to the combination of high mountains, water, and a huge dam, the Lake Luzzone region is considered one of the most picturesque places in Southeast Switzerland. You can get here by car, along a narrow and winding but incredibly scenic road.
