Grindelwald

Grindelwald is an exceptionally picturesque village situated in a green valley, among impressive alpine peaks such as the Eiger . Thanks to this unusual location and the proximity of the Riger and Ettenhorn glaciers, this place has become a popular ski resort . There you will find two main areas for winter sports. First and Kleine Scheidegg - Männlichen - Wengen offer a total of 160 km of pistes , which are served by 30 modern lifts .

The most famous ski run is Lauberhorn, which is known for the World Cup competitions held here. In winter, the famous World Snow Festival is also organized here. In summer, Grindelwald is an ideal place for high mountain hiking. There are 300 km of hiking trails here, and the trekking along the Bachalpsee on the Schynige Platte is considered one of the most beautiful in the region. There are many beautiful viewpoints to conquer here, such as the famous First Cliff Walk lookout path. Enthusiasts of more ambitious routes and climbing have many different routes at their disposal in the region, as well as interesting Via Ferrata.
