Leon (León) is located in northwestern Spain, halfway between Oviedo and Valladolid. The city is the capital of the province of the same name . Why should you consider visiting Leon? Mainly because of… gastronomy . The city offers many excellent restaurants, especially those specializing in tapas . During a break from culinary delights, you will also be able to go sightseeing. Leon has a nice old town. Within it, you will find several interesting monuments, including the Basilica of St. Isidore at the helm .

Globetrotter Hostel

I recommend this hostel especially to students and backpackers. The stay costs ridiculous money, and you live in the very center of Leon. In dormitories, the beds have curtains, which allows for some privacy. Clean, large common space and large bathrooms, so there are no queues for washing or toilets.

Le Petit León

Hotel Le Petit León is a very nice place, with an intimate, homely atmosphere. Even though it is located in the central part of the city, it was quiet and peaceful there at night. My wife and I spent two nights there and were very pleased. Especially since it was close to various attractions.

Hostel Covent Garden

In Leon I stayed at Hostel Covent Garden. This is a truly unique hostel, located in a stylish tenement house. The interiors are filled with old, but perfectly renovated furniture. The balconies overlook Plaza San Marcelo. Great value for money.

Hospedería Monástica Pax

I spent one night at the Monastica Pax guesthouse. Do I recommend it? Definitely. I could easily extend my stay there, but I had to go to another city. The hotel is very well-kept, the room was tastefully decorated. In addition, the old town of Leon is within easy reach.
