Undoubtedly, it is one of the most recognizable monuments in Spain, which impresses with its magnificent architecture, decorations and gardens. However, Granada does not start and end with the Alhambra. While in the city, be sure to take a stroll through the old town , visit the Arab quarter of Albaicin and Sacromonte with caves where flamenco shows take place. All in all, there is a lot to do in Granada!

Hotel Hesperia is an exceptionally charming place where I spent 2 nights. It is located in the very center of Granada. Thanks to this you can feel the atmosphere of the city. The interiors are tastefully decorated, with many interesting architectural details, such as a stained glass roof over the central part of the building. I had no comments about the room. The included breakfast was impeccable.

Casa de la Catedral is located opposite the main entrance to the cathedral. My assumption was that I would do a lot of sightseeing. Therefore, overnight stay in the Old Town was the best solution. The guesthouse offers beautiful apartments with bright interiors filled with wooden furniture. You can feel at home.

4U Hostel

4U Hostel

For people looking for relatively cheap accommodation in Granada, I recommend 4U Hostel. It is located within the old town. It has a great decor and is very clean. Even during the peak summer season, there were not many guests there, which allowed for privacy, especially in the dormitory room.

Alhambra Palace

Can there be anything more romantic than staying overnight right next to the Alhambra Palace? In my opinion no. That's why I took my wife to the Alhambra Palace hotel for a weekend trip for two. The view from the window was worth every penny. Plus luxurious conditions, delicious food and a slightly uplifting atmosphere.

Hotel Santa Isabel la Real

Hotel Santa Isabel la Real

Hotel Santa Isabela la Real is located on the outskirts of the center. But I walked no longer than 8-10 minutes to the very old town. Its greatest advantage is the beautiful view of the Alhambra from it. Additionally, it occupies the interior of an atmospheric tenement house. The conditions are great. Friendly and willing service. Hence I can 100% recommend this hotel.
