Frigiliana

Frigiliana is a small town in southern Spain , less than 60 km from Malaga. This is an excellent example of the so-called pueblos plancos, or white cities . They are dominated by buildings with facades covered with intensely white limestone. Despite its proximity to popular holiday destinations, Frigiliana maintains its authentic character perfectly.

Traditional architecture and multicultural heritage are visible at every step. The upper quarter , which dates back to Arab times , is especially interesting. The climate of the whole city is also added by the beautiful location on the slopes of the mountains, at an altitude of over 300 m above sea level. It is worth "getting lost" for a moment among the narrow streets of Frigiliana, described by many as the most beautiful town of Andalusia .
