Bovec

Located in the Soča Valley, Bovec is one of the most active places on the map of Slovenia . It is from there that rafting on the emerald Soca river, famous for its beautiful views, is organized. Bovec also offers countless hiking and biking trails. In winter, the highest located ski resort in Slovenia, Kanin , attracts tourists to this area. Bovec can also be a pretty good starting point for exploring the entire Soča Valley.

It is close to Kobarid with a few interesting attractions or to the Virsic Pass, from where numerous trekking routes start. Bovec itself is a small town with two larger shops, a few restaurants and quite a lot of guesthouses and private accommodation.
