Bojnice

Halfway between Trencin and Banska Bystrica, there is a small town called Bojnice. The town is known for several reasons. The first is the magnificent castle (Zámok Bojnice), which dates back to the 12th century. Its present appearance combines the Gothic and Renaissance styles. There is an interesting museum in the castle interiors, which presents the history of the building as well as Bojnice.

And tourists come to them also because they are a famous spa town . There are sulphate springs , the health-promoting properties of which have been known since the Middle Ages. In combination with the microclimate prevailing there and wonderful, green areas, they create ideal conditions for both convalescence and relaxation.
