Uvac

One of the most characteristic and most photographed places in all of Serbia is Uvac . Under this name there is a canyon and a river meandering like a snake . Virtually every advertising folder promoting Serbia's assets contains photos showing Uvac from the perspective of one of the vantage points located above it. One of the most popular is the Molitva viewpoint , where you can admire the stunning meanders of the river from a wooden platform. The canyon is also an important bird habitat. A large population of griffon vulture lives here , which can be easily spotted during a visit to this part of Serbia.

Uvac can also be explored from the perspective of a boat. Sightseeing cruises are organized from the vicinity of the dam or from the campsite located south of the Ledena Pecina cave.
