Located in the northwest of Serbia, Novi Sad is the largest city in the region known as Vojvodina and the second largest city in the whole country . Many tourists come to it after crossing the border with Hungary or Croatia . Novi Sad has a quite picturesque location. First of all , the Danube flows through it . On the other hand, to the south of the city limits there is the Fruski Gory range , on the slopes of which numerous vineyards are located.

Novi Sad, Serbia - © Brate

Novi Sad has a nice and well-kept old town. However, tourists are most drawn to the Petrovaradin fortress on the opposite bank of the Danube than the old town. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best vantage points from which you can admire both the city and the majestic river flowing through it.

For whom?

Visit Novi Sad if you like sightseeing and walking . The city is really very pleasant to perceive, there is plenty to do here. And in the evening you can relax in one of the numerous atmospheric restaurants and pubs.

Garni Hotel Leopold I

Garni Hotel Mediteraneo

In theory, Garni Hotel Mediteraneo does not stand out in any way when it comes to the interior design or architecture of the building itself. But its undoubted advantage is its location in the very center of the city. There are literally three steps to Trg Slobode and numerous restaurants and pubs. And surprisingly the price was really reasonable.

Downtown Hostel Novi Sad

Czyste, przestronne i jasne wnętrza. Przemiła obsługa. Jedyny minus to brak zamykanych szafek. Ale jakoś sobie bez nich poradziłem.

Hotel Fontana
