Autorka, Travelbay
Drvengrad is a unique place on the map of Serbia. In its south-western part, close to the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emir Kusturica built a wooden village for the film " Life is a miracle ". He chose an exceptionally picturesque place, i.e. the slopes of Mokra Góra .

The village is also known as Küstendorf and can be reached, among others, by by a unique railway, the Szargańska Eight (Šarganska Osmica). It is only 15.5 km long , but in this section it covers 22 tunnels or 5 bridges . The cable car ride and visit to Drvengrad are therefore one of the most important tourist attractions to check off during your stay in Serbia .
