St. Petersburg

Saint Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia and one of the most visited places in the entire Federation. Around 1700, when Russia was at war with Sweden, Peter gave the order to build the Peter and Paul Fortress. Peter decided to move the capitals of the country from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
