Solovetsky Islands have written a very gloomy and bloody history in the pages of history. The first labor camp in Russia was created here. The islands are popularly called Solovki , and apart from concentration camps (the cheapest form of accommodation), you'll find some of the most beautiful monasteries in all of Russia. In the book "The Gulag Archipelago" this place is described this way: A scream from this place will never be heard. In fact, the only good time to visit the Solovetsky Islands is summer. In the fall, it's hard to get through storms, fog and general hustle and bustle. Take something mosquito repellent with you.
