Świnoujście

Świnoujście is the westernmost resort of the Polish Baltic Sea coast. An extraordinary city where you can fully admire the beauty of the local beaches. And these are exceptionally wide and picturesque here. What's more, one of them, located on the island of Usedom , was awarded the Blue Flag ! Świnoujście is located on two other islands: Wolin and Karsibór and 44 smaller islets. This makes it the only city of this type in Poland.

The fact that the city is located at the mouth of the Świna River makes it an extremely photogenic place, and the surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling trips. In Świnoujście itself you will also find some interesting places. The most important ones include the characteristic lighthouse, the Młyny Pond - the symbol of the city and the Sea Fisheries Museum . Make sure to set aside time to explore the Underground City on Wolin Island. Under this name there is a complex of underground shelters, which are now open to the public.
