Saint nicholas' day

Mikołajki has been leading the way among Masurian cities and towns for many years. There are several reasons for this. First of all, Mikołajki is a popular destination among sailors . The city is situated between Lake Tałty and Lake Mikołajskie, which is connected with Lake Śniardwy. There are regular boats to the last one from Mikołajki, thanks to which you can get to know the largest Polish lake up close.

However, this Masurian city has much more to offer. It is worth starting your stay in Mikołajki on the market square, which is surrounded by well-kept, low tenement houses. There is also the fountain of King Sielaw , the legendary fish in the crown. There is a tourist information office nearby, where you can get maps and all kinds of brochures. The promenade along the shore of Lake Mikołajskie and the well-known and appreciated Sailing Village are recommended for a walk. Be sure to also drop by the church of St. Nicholas . Its tower serves as a vantage point from which you can admire the vast panorama of the city and lakes.
For whom?
St. Nicholas' Day will be happy to host everyone, regardless of age. However, most of all, it is a great place for all sailors , for whom there is an excellent infrastructure in the form of eco-marina. Families with children will find here great areas for a walk or a bicycle, as well as a rope park or a beach.
