Opole

Opole, which is the capital of the Opolskie Voivodeship, is probably associated primarily with the Polish Song Festival, which every year, usually in June, is hosted at the local amphitheater . Anyway, it now bears the proud name of the National Center of Polish Song. There is also a museum devoted to Polish performers, their works and history. However, Opole does not live by music alone. What else is the city famous for?

Certainly from the Venice of Opole . What is under this name? Well, the Młynówka canal, in which there are charming tenement houses. The climate is almost like from Italy. In Opole, the remarkably photogenic Groszowy Bridge and the Piast Tower with a beautiful panorama of the city also deserve attention. The island of Bolko with its zoo is definitely recommended for a walk.
For whom?
For sure, come to Opole if you are a fan of the Polish music scene. Not only will you be able to take part in one of the concerts taking place in the amphitheater, but also explore your knowledge at the Polish Song Museum. Opole also has a nice center and several monuments that will appeal to people who like to visit . Walkers will also have something to do here.
