Malbork

It cannot be denied that the castle in Malbork is one of the most famous and recognizable buildings of this type in Poland. It is also the best preserved medieval stronghold in all of Europe. The construction of the castle began in the 13th century. Its founders were the Teutonic Order, which made it the seat of the great masters of the order in the 15th century. Later, it changed its owners, which does not change the fact that it is mainly associated with the Teutonic Knights. Currently, it houses a museum . There are two routes: green (shorter; visiting time 1.5 hours) and historical (longer; visiting time 3.5 hours). It is definitely worth going on a tour with a guide, because the castle itself was entered on the UNESCO list and hides a lot of interesting facts inside.

However, is there anything else to admire in the city of Malbork apart from the stronghold itself? It turns out that yes! A few more monuments and attractions await tourists here. Including Mariacka Gate , Town Hall, St. John or the City Museum . Due to the fact that Malbork is eagerly visited by families with children, places have also been created here for the youngest. That is why you can also find a DinoPark or a rope park here.
For whom?
A visit to Malbork is partly a journey in time. If you are fascinated by history , especially the medieval one, you will surely find yourself here quickly and enjoy your stay in the city. Malbork is also a great place for families with children. A lot of attractions await them here.
