<p>The best time to go to Voss <strong>is at the turn of June and July for the Extreme Sports Week</strong> (Ekstremsportveko). This is the largest extreme sports festival in the world. Sports competitions and shows are accompanied by numerous concerts and events.</p>

Nice campsite near the Tvindefossen waterfall. You can hear the cars passing by a bit, but it&#39;s bearable for one night, especially since the price is very good. Paid showers, but this is standard in Norway.

A cozy bed &amp; breakfast 20 km from Voss at a much better price than those in the city. I especially recommend it during Ekstremsportveko. Nice owner, tasty breakfast and comfortable beds.

A budget hostel located in the very center of the town. Close to everything, beautiful view of the lake from the windows and a very tasty breakfast. At the reception you can ask about the best agencies organizing rafting.

This is a really tiny hotel, with tiny rooms and even smaller bathrooms. Very picturesquely located on the lake, clean and with pleasant service. Perfect for one night.
