The city of Mosta is located in the central part of Malta. You may not have heard of him. However, you will soon find out that it is worth going there. Mosta may not be the most popular point of the island, but it is famous for at least one noteworthy attraction. It is Mosta Dome .

Mosta

Mosta, Malta - © Brate

Under this name there is a temple, the dome of which is one of the largest in Europe . The building is so huge that you can see it from practically every part of the city. Interestingly, there is an intriguing story associated with this temple. During World War II, a bomb weighing 50 kg fell into it. And ... it didn't explode. Since then, there has been talk of the Bomb Miracle in the context of this place. Other attractions of Mosty are the catacombs and the small but charming Ta 'Qal National Park .

For whom?

If you are looking for a bit more unusual places in Malta, be sure to visit Mosta. The city has an atmosphere, and its interesting and slightly turbulent history will appeal to fans of exploring these earlier and slightly closer to us history.

Julina Boutique Living

Hotel Julina is an extraordinary place that charmed me from the moment I entered. Amazing interiors filled with stylish furniture and accessories. The main theme is red. Very comfortable. The price was not too high, and most importantly, it included a really good breakfast.

Corinthia Palace Malta

Corinthia Palace is a truly world-class hotel. It occupies the interior of a historic villa from the 19th century. It has a beautifully arranged garden - full of amazing plants. There is also an outdoor and indoor pool. The hotel is very luxurious and therefore expensive. But it's one hundred percent worth it!

The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux

My wife and I stayed in this wonderful guesthouse, south of Mosta, in Mdina. The views from there are breathtaking. Importantly, the restaurant located there received 1 Michelin star. The food there is outstanding! It is worth trying the tasting menu. The room was beautiful - comfortable bed, elegant furniture, lots of space.

Cozy Rooms - Great Bus Connections - Free Parking

Quite a pleasant, low-budget accommodation in Mosta. A very nice and caring owner - before our arrival, he sent us all the information on how to get to the guesthouse. Our room was actually cozy - small, but quite spacious. The bed was comfortable. Nice kitchenette.
