Brod is a small village located in the southern part of Kosovo , tucked between the border with Albania and Macedonia . Due to the fact that it is located at the foot of the Szar Planina mountains , it offers exceptionally beautiful views, and can also be a starting point for mountain hiking, hiking or ski touring. There is also a pretty good ski resort in the area.

However, it is worth visiting Brod for another reason as well. The people who live here belong to the ethnic minority called Goranci . They are Slavic Muslims who have kept their own culture, traditions or even language. When you decide to visit Brod, you can be sure that you will not end up in another tourist ethno-village, but in an absolutely authentic place.

For whom?

Consider a visit to Brod if you are not afraid to take the road . The village lies outside the main communication arteries, a bit “at the end of the world”. But if you want to see an unusual, picturesque and interesting place , then covering the extra kilometers will pay off.
