Regensburg (Regensburg) is one of the largest cities in Bavaria. Its most important advantage is the fact that it has retained its unique medieval character . And although the historical roots are strongly remembered here, and the magnificent, historic, urban buildings impress everyone, Regensburg focuses on development just as much. As a result, it is a perfect combination of the past and the present. That is why, in addition to numerous attractions and museums, there are plenty of bars and atmospheric pubs waiting for you here. According to various statistics, there are the most of them per square meter in Germany.

It is worth adding that Regensburg was on the UNESCO list. The old town and the Stadtamhof district are under protection . They include 984 historic buildings. In the entire city, you will find a total of 1,500 objects protected by law. So be prepared for an intense daytime sightseeing tour. And at night to party until dawn.

For whom?

First of all, visit Regensburg if you like to visit and explore its sights. There are countless of them in this Bavarian city. It is also an ideal destination for partygoers. Regensburg boasts a huge number of pubs.

SORAT Insel-Hotel Regensburg

This hotel is situated right on the banks of the Danube. From the room window we had a view of this majestic river and a large part of the city. Close to the old town, the surroundings are extremely pleasant. The hotel conditions were impeccable. Very nice service. Tasty breakfasts. Unfortunately, parking has an additional fee.

Hotel Orphée - Großes Haus

I had the pleasure of staying at the Orphee Hotel twice. I think I will come back there the third time as well. The hotel is located directly in the old town, in a historic building. It has beautiful interiors, with stylish furniture. All the city's attractions can be reached within a short walk.

Hotel Bischofshof am Dom

If someone wants to fully feel the spirit of Regensburg, they should stay in this hotel. A historic building, historic interiors, and a fantastic atmosphere. In fact, it is very expensive. But in my opinion it's worth it. Everything is perfect there - from the decor to the food.

Ibis Styles Regensburg

In Regensburg I stayed at the Ibis hotel. It is located outside the city center, but there was very good access from the ring road. It is definitely a good choice for transit accommodation. But you can also stay there for longer. Stylish and modern interiors. The room was quite spacious. The price includes a filling breakfast.
