Europa Park is the largest amusement park in Germany, which ranks second in Europe in terms of popularity (5.5 million visitors per year) after the famous Disneyland. It was opened in 1975 in Rust , right next to the French border. The biggest advantage of Europa Park is the fact that there are more and more attractions there. So you can check back regularly and get surprised by something new every time.

Europa Park is divided into 15 thematic zones , most of which refer to European countries. Among the hundreds of attractions, the most popular are roller coasters with the Silver Star, Wodan-Timburcoaster (a wooden railway speeding up to 100 km / h), Blue Fire Megacoster or Pegasus at the fore. If you prefer a slightly less extreme experience, be sure to take a ride on the EP Express , which allows you to see the entire park from above. On 95 ha, you will also find plenty of green areas, playgrounds, and an extensive catering and hotel base. Europa Park also prides itself on amazing shows - from revue on ice to theater performances. It is also worth adding that in the winter it turns into a festive Advent land, full of flickering lights and references to Christmas.

For whom?

Primarily for families with children . If you are going to Germany, you should take your children to Europa Park. This place is adapted to the needs of both older and slightly younger guests. Europa Park is also a real treat for roller coaster and adrenaline fans .

Pension Yvonne Sigg

If you are planning a stay in Rust and your main goal is Europa Park, I highly recommend staying in this guesthouse. It is located right next to the amusement park. It has a large parking lot. The advantage is that they accept guests with pets (I travel with a dog). Very good breakfasts are served there (large selection of products). The room was great - nicely decorated and cleaned.

Hotel am Park

We stayed at Hotel am Park mainly because it was close to the amusement park. We were planning a two-day stay there with our children, so we wanted to live right next to it. This is not the cheapest accommodation option, but the conditions are great. The room was very spacious, so the four of us could comfortably fit in. Very tasty breakfasts and nice service.

Gasthof Altes Rathaus

I have very fond memories of my stay at Gasthof Altes Rathaus. It is located on the bank of the river, in a quiet district, approximately 300 m from Europa Park. The guesthouse offers an intimate atmosphere, nice interior design and a tasty breakfast included in the price.

Hotel Casa Rustica - Eintrittskarten für den Europapark erhalten Sie garantiert über uns!

I had the opportunity to stay at the Casa Rustica hotel twice. And I recommend this place to everyone. A charming building with a soul, staffed by very nice people who create a homely atmosphere. There is a fantastic restaurant on site, which I also recommend visiting for lunch. Additionally, Europa Park is a 5-minute walk away.

Gita´s Haus

During our stay in Rust, my wife and I decided to rent an apartment at Gita's Haus. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service. Firstly, the apartment was beautifully decorated, in a rustic style. Secondly, the service there is very nice, and check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. Thirdly, it is close to both the center of Rust and Europa Park.
