Amrum is one of the North Friesian Islands and is often considered the most beautiful tourist destination in the region. From the west, it is surrounded by the North Sea. Along its entire shore, there is a huge sandy beach, up to 1.5 km wide. The landscape is also diversified by partially overgrown dunes. From the east, the island is surrounded by the famous Wadden Sea , which thanks to its valuable ecosystem has been entered on the UNESCO list. At low tide, you can walk on dry foot via Watty to the neighboring island of Fohr.
