The Ardèche is famous for its scenery dotted with rocks and caves, on whose walls our ancestors immortalized their first paintings thousands of years ago. Its jewel is the Ardèche Canyon. It is 32 km long between the towns of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and Saint-Martin-d'Ardeche. Its gray walls, rising 300 meters above the ground, harmonize with the blue of the flowing river. The Ardèche Canyon is one of the most spectacular natural creations in France. It is called the European Grand Canyon and is part of a nature reserve. Annually, it is visited by about 1 million people.

In my opinion, it is best to stay at a campsite in Ardeche. Then you will be able to fully feel the atmosphere of this picturesque area. I would definitely recommend the Paradis Family campsite in Lalevade-dʼArdèche. A great option for families with children. Comfortable holiday homes. Nice pools. Lots of animations for the youngest.
