The city of York is located in the north of England, at the confluence of the two rivers Ouse and Foss. Considered by many to be one of the prettiest and more charming in the whole country. York is filled with numerous monuments and museums, which guarantee that the time spent there will be really interesting. The most important city attractions include the impressive Gothic cathedral (York Minster), picturesque city walls and numerous atmospheric streets.

It is also worth making time to visit the Jorvik Viking Center , which is located where the old Viking houses were discovered. Be sure to also check out the fascinating Railway Museum . In the evenings, however, you will be able to count on great fun in the numerous pubs scattered around the city center.
