Brighton

4.25       See Reviews (8)

Brighton is located on the south coast of England, just over 80 km from London. The city has become a kind of recreational base for the capital. And this is already at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. To this day, Londoners like to come here for weekends and longer stays. In particular, Brighton offers a slightly calmer atmosphere.

Brighton, England - © Brate

What can you do there? Quite a lot. Primarily, Brighton functions as a seaside resort . You will find quite a lot of beaches here. But remember - they are very rocky. Either way, walking along them will be a pleasure in itself. In addition, Brighton offers a lot of interesting architecture (also a bit more industrial), as well as some really great museums (eg Brighton Museum & Art Gallery or Brighton Toy and Model Museum). There is also a lot going on in the city in terms of cultural events . Concerts and festivals are organized here. But there are also eateries here in abundance.

Who is Brighton for?

Brighton is not a particularly large city, but it offers a lot of attractions. First of all, come here if you want to relax by the sea and for walks. During a break from admiring the views, you will also be able to go sightseeing .

Jurys Inn Brighton Waterfront

Jurys Inn Brighton Waterfront is a luxurious hotel in a great location. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and very filling. I haven't experienced such nice service for a long time. Unfortunately, the downside was very expensive parking for guests. You would think that in such a hotel it would be free of charge.

Jurys Inn Brighton

Jurys Inn Brighton is a good hotel in a reasonably good location. A definite plus for cleanliness, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was a decent size for such a short stay. A small breakfast is included in the price.

Hilton Brighton Metropole

Hilton Brighton Metropole is a great place with very nice service. There is a swimming pool, sauna and gym on site. The bar is open until late at night. Too bad there were no bathrobes and the breakfast was cold. It may seem like a detail, but it's worth paying attention to.

Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel

Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel offers a good standard at a good price. The beds were very comfortable, which is a key thing for me. Unfortunately, parking was very expensive and there were no guest parking spaces available.

Britannia Study Hotel

The breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, beans, cheese and vegetables. The area is great because the Britannia Study Hotel is close to the center. A huge advantage was that we could leave our luggage after checking out. We recommend!
