<p>It is worth visiting Aalborg <strong>all year round,</strong> although the city is most beautiful in spring and summer. If you like carnivals and street parties <strong>, plan your visit to Aalborg in May</strong> . Around the middle of the month <strong>, an extraordinary festival takes place here,</strong> which definitely breaks the stereotype of distant and cold Danes. The streets are dominated by sequins, feathers, half-naked bodies, colorful makeup and the craziest interpretations of the carnival theme, which is different every year.</p>

When to visit Aalborg?

<p>The center of Aalborg is small and <strong>can be easily explored on foot</strong> . Classical music concerts and rehearsals of the Aalborg Philharmonic are held here. It is one of <strong>the most original buildings</strong> in Denmark.</p><h3> Utzon Center</h3><p> The Utzon Center building was <strong>designed by the famous Danish architect Jørn Utzon</strong> (author of, among others, the design of the Sydney Opera House). Vernissages and art and design exhibitions are often held inside. There are <strong>almost 700 graves marked with rough-hewn boulders.</strong> Many of the burial places were surrounded by stones in the shape of warships. This amazing cemetery was discovered under several meters of sand only in the 19th century.</p>

What to see in Aalborg?

According to locals <strong>, the best pub in Aalborg</strong> (JØsterågade 25).</p><h3> Benedikte – Late Night Club</h3><p> An elegant nightclub that opens only one hour before midnight. <strong>Always a lot of people and successful events</strong> . You can book a table with your own waiter (Jomfru Ane Gade 3).</p><h3> Cafe Vesterå V4</h3><p> The best place <strong>for a party with Latin, electro and dance rhythms.</strong> Large selection of drinks, but prices are exorbitant. There are crowds on the dance floor on weekends. During the day, Cafe Vesterå is a cozy and tasty restaurant (Vesterå 4).</p>
