Varazdin

Varazdin is an old Croatian capital with a wonderful baroque old town . There is a lot to explore in the city. The city used to be part of Austria-Hungary, which can be seen in the architecture. Everything is beautifully restored, decorated with little angels, pastel facades of buildings. All this makes Varaždin a real gem to explore. The whole old town is pedestrianized, so you can walk through it without any obstacles. And so at some point you will wander to Krajla Tomislava Square - the heart of the city.

Varazdin is a real architectural gem. If you like sightseeing and are fed up with the coast then come here. The most impressive is Stari Grad, a real fortress. There you will find the City Museum.
