Omis
Autorka, Travelbay
The town of Omis lies at the mouth of the Cetina River into the Adriatic Sea. In Croatia, it is associated primarily as a starting point for people who like slightly more extreme sports . Rafting and canyoning are organized on the Cetina River, the area is also conducive to rock climbing and water sports (mainly windsurfing). Omis itself is also worth visiting, because of the pleasant old town and beautiful views from two of its fortresses. The city can also be a nice base for exploring Dalmatia. Relatively close to Split and the Makarska Riviera .
