Pirin

The Pirin (Pirin) Mountains are, next to Rila, one of the most popular mountain ranges in Bulgaria. Their highest peak is Wichren , which rises to a height of 2,914 m above sea level. It is also the second highest peak in the whole country (Musala, of course, holds the priority). The Koncheto ridge, which is incredibly scenic and quite technically difficult, stretches from Wichren and attracts thrill-seekers.

In the Pirin Mountains, you will find several serviced shelters and mountain shelters where you can spend the night for free. Many people compare this mountain range to the High Tatras. Indeed, at times the similarity is quite striking.
For whom?
Go to the Pirin Mountains if you want to experience an amazing mountain adventure on routes that, unlike the Tatra Mountains, are not trampled by huge crowds of tourists. Unforgettable views and interesting technical routes await you here.
