Situated on the Bulgarian coast, Burgas is the fourth largest city in the country . For some time now, Polish tourists associate it mainly with the airport located there, to which charter flights and low-cost airlines fly. Thanks to this, it has become a base for exploring this part of Bulgaria.
However, is it worth staying in this city for longer? Burgas is unlikely to function as a resort. First of all, its landscape is characterized by a petrochemical plant, the largest of its kind in the entire Balkans. Burgas is situated not only by the sea, but also right next to three lagoon lakes . In the city itself, you can find two quite interesting museums or a pleasant Seaside Park, along which the city beach stretches. Burgas can be the perfect destination for a day trip with a short sunbathing.
When to visit Burgas?
Of course, it's best to plan your visit to Burgas in the summer season . From May to September, there are quite a few flights to this Bulgarian city, so you will be able to get there quickly and efficiently. In addition, the city makes a much better impression in summer than during autumn or early spring days.

Villa Promenade
Villa Promenade to idealne miejsce, jeśli szukacie noclegu na najwyższym poziomie, eleganckiego oraz oferującego kameralną atmosferę. Po spędzonych tam 4 dniach stwierdzam, że to jeden z lepszych hoteli, w jakich nocowałem w Bułgarii. Stylowe, wypełnione sztuką wnętrza, doskonałe jedzenie oraz położenie tuż przy plaży były warte wydania nieco większej jak na bułgarskie standardy sumy.
Primoretz Grand Hotel & Spa
W Burgas miałem okazję nocować w Primoretz Grand Hotel & Spa. Ma świetną lokalizację. Znajduje się tuż nad brzegiem morza, ale w otoczeniu drzew w Parku Nadmorskim. Baseny zewnętrzne i wewnętrzne, ładny wystrój i bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. W ramach pobytu można też częściowo (bez dodatkowej opłaty) korzystać z oferty SPA, np. z solankowych kąpieli.
Hotel Plaza
Na jedną-dwie noce polecam położony w centrum Burgas Hotel Plaza. Wadą hotelu jest brak parkingu dla gości. Ale za to jest się w samym sercu miasta. Blisko stąd zarówno do muzeów, jak i parku czy plaży. Pokój był schludny, śniadanie całkiem obfite i smaczne. Jak za tę cenę, nie miałam żadnych powodów do narzekań.
Hotel Lazuren Briag
W Burgas miałem okazję nocować przy plaży Safarovo w przyjemnym hotelu Lazuren Briag. To kameralny obiekt, gdzie o dobrą atmosferę dba sam właściciel. Nie znajdziecie tu wielkich luksusów, co przekłada się na relatywnie niską cenę. Wprost z hotelu można wyjść na piaszczystą plażę i cieszyć się widokiem morza.
