Located in the south-east of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Trebinje is an ideal starting point . Not only to explore this part of the country, but also to visit Montenegro ( Herceg Novi and Boka Kotorska) and Croatia ( Dubrovnik ). However, the city itself is also very attractive. The beautiful old town , picturesque Orthodox churches on the hills and the crystal clear river crossing the city create ideal conditions for sightseeing.

If you like sightseeing and you are also a fan of good wine , Trebinje is a must. The city is famous for its vineyards and the production of truly excellent wine. So you will be able to combine pleasant (wine tasting) with business (city tour).

Hostel Polako
Polako Hostel has a perverse name. It refers to the word poleko - calmly, slowly, as well as to the fact that one of the owners is Pole - Bartek. Together with his wife, Lauren, who comes from the USA, they founded a hostel in Trebinje a few years ago. Previously it was in a different location. Currently, it is also close to the center and the bus station. Clean, cozy, great atmosphere. I would highly recommend!

Hotel Platani
If you want to fully feel the atmosphere of Trebinje, choose to stay at the Platani Hotel. It is located in the very center of the city, right next to the square with plane trees. It offers really great conditions. I highly recommend the breakfasts served there - they are delicious. The price, considering the very center, is relatively low.
