Srebrenica

In the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina, close to the border with Serbia , lies the small town of Srebrenica . At first glance, it does not stand out with anything special. However, for most people, not only from the Balkans, but also from other corners, Europe, and perhaps the world, is associated with one. With the 1995 massacre of Serbian troops on local men and boys. Probably 8373 people died as a result . These terrible events are commemorated by a huge cemetery in the village of Potočari, where one of the largest mass executions took place.
