Bihac is a small city located close to the northwest of the country, on the border with Croatia . The beautiful, crystal clear Una River flows through it. Due to its location, Bihać is off the beaten track from the main tourist routes .

So it can be a nice alternative to slightly more crowded places. The city does not offer many monuments. But it is perfect for a short, relaxing walk. In addition, it can be a pretty good starting point to the Plitvice Lakes National Park located in Croatia.
For whom?
Bihac is an offer for those who already know Bosnia and Herzegovina very well and are looking for less popular places . If you are going to this country for the first time, rather skip Bihać.

Hotel Paviljon
Hotel Paviljon is located in the very center of the city. All Bihac attractions are nearby. The hotel is surrounded by greenery. It is easy to get to because the main road runs next to it. Despite everything, there is peace and quiet there. I really liked the breakfasts. The room was tidy, but the bathroom could be bigger.

Konak na Uni
A modern hotel located on the bank of the Una, on the opposite side from the old town. It wasn't the cheapest choice. But because of the view from the window I was willing to pay a bit more. The hotel is quite intimate. The rooms are truly luxurious and stylishly decorated.
