The work of the brothers Hubert and Jan van Eyck is over 3.5 m high and almost 5 m wide with both wings open. During the visit, it is also worth paying attention to the Rococo pulpit from 1745 and Rubens&#39; painting <em>Saint Bavo Comes to the Monastery in Ghent</em> .</p><h3> The bell tower of Het Belfort van Gent</h3><p> Watchtowers and bell towers in one (belfry or beffroi) are quite characteristic buildings that were built in what is now Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany. The best parties start here after midnight (Vlasmarkt 6).</p><h3> Abacho 2K18 Silent Disco</h3><p> <strong>The first silent disco in Belgium</strong> . When you enter, you get a set of headphones in which you can choose your favorite type of music. Just turn up the volume and hit the dance floor. The headphones glow in different colors, so you can see what music you are listening to and which mix is the most popular on the dance floor (Hoogpoort 12A).</p><h3> Kingstreet</h3><p> A small club, relaxed atmosphere, <strong>music mainly in the style of the &#39;70s and &#39;80s.</strong> There&#39;s always a lot of dancing people (Kammerstraat 49).</p>

Nightlife in Ghent

<p>Ghent (or Ghent) is a true Belgian gem with a majestic fortified castle and a thrilling nightlife. It is often compared to <a href="https://brate.com/europe/belgium/bruges/">Bruges</a> , although it is much less candy, more dignified and much less crowded. I expect a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom from a hostel, and Hostel 47 guarantees exactly that. Additionally, you have access to a shared kitchen (without a microwave, but with a kettle) and a small garden for a cigarette. 5-minute walk to the center, you don&#39;t have to order an Uber when returning at night. The hotel is located in the building of a former monastery. The bathrooms need a little refreshing, but overall it is a very pleasant and original accommodation. Close to the center, yet a bit out of the way, in a quiet area. There are some quite nice pubs nearby.

A unique hostel in the very center of the city, right next to the St. Bridge. Michael. It&#39;s a really great location for a hostel, expensive hotels are usually built in such places. Very friendly atmosphere, board games available, people cooking together in the shared kitchen. Comfortable beds and well-organized bathrooms.

It&#39;s more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Perfect location (the cathedral is just around the corner) and very nice staff. A bit old-school decor and not soundproofed rooms, but that&#39;s to be expected from an old tenement house.
