Ghent (or Ghent) is a true Belgian gem with a majestic fortified castle and a thrilling nightlife. It is often compared to Bruges , although it is much less candy, more dignified and much less crowded. The characteristic panorama of the city consists of three towers - the high belfry known as the "dragon tower", the tower of the church of St. Nicholas and the tower of the impressive St. Bavo.

For whom?
Ghent will appeal to everyone who enjoys sightseeing and medieval architecture . If you ask any resident of Ghent what he thinks about his city - he will answer with unbridled delight. And no wonder.

KaBa Hostel
A cozy hostel in a good location at a reasonable price. Bathrooms and rooms clean and well-kept. Varied, tasty breakfast and nice girls at the reception.

Hostel 47
I expect a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom from a hostel, and Hostel 47 guarantees exactly that. Additionally, you have access to a shared kitchen (without a microwave, but with a kettle) and a small garden for a cigarette. 5-minute walk to the center, you don't have to order an Uber when returning at night. Code entry to the building.

Hotel Monasterium PoortAckere
The hotel is located in the building of a former monastery. The bathrooms need a little refreshing, but overall it is a very pleasant and original accommodation. Close to the center, yet a bit out of the way, in a quiet area. There are some quite nice pubs nearby.

Hostel Uppelink
A unique hostel in the very center of the city, right next to the St. Bridge. Michael. It's a really great location for a hostel, expensive hotels are usually built in such places. Very friendly atmosphere, board games available, people cooking together in the shared kitchen. Comfortable beds and well-organized bathrooms.

Flandria Hotel
It's more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Perfect location (the cathedral is just around the corner) and very nice staff. A bit old-school decor and not soundproofed rooms, but that's to be expected from an old tenement house.
