Naroczański National Park

The Narochan National Park was established on the territory of the largest Belarusian lake - Narocz , and numerous smaller reservoirs in its vicinity. The terrain of the Belarusian Lake District is very similar to our Masuria, but it has retained a much more natural character. Most of the area is made up of lakes and forests. Many hiking and ecological routes have been marked out here. The place is perfect for bird watching and wildlife observation.

The tourist center is the Narocz resort , where, thanks to favorable conditions, many sanatoriums, holiday homes and hotels have been built. The seat of the Naroczański National Park is also located here. In addition, there are many smaller villages in this area, where local traditions and architecture have been preserved. The lake with an area of almost 80 km² offers very good conditions for water sports and sailing. In the interwar period, Narocz was the largest lake in Poland at that time and was often called the "borderland sea".
