Semmering

The name of Semmering is a mountain pass (984 meters above sea level) and a tourist and spa town situated at the junction of two regions: Styria and Lower Austria. Tourists come here both in summer and winter. First of all, to see the amazing railway line that runs in this place. It is so unusual that it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List .

The railway route was built at the end of the 19th century and was the first such high mountain investment in the world. So you can count on a lot of tunnels, viaducts and amazing views.
