The Hintertux ski resort is highly appreciated by skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. First of all, because it operates within the glacier of the same name. As a result, the ski season practically never ends here. No matter what time you go, you will be able to ski on the glacier on one or two boards. There are 21 ski lifts within the resort, serving 57 km of slopes .

Here you will find both freeride terrain and wide, slightly gentler slopes. The 12 km long trail from the Gefrorene Wand summit ending in Hintertux is very popular. There is also a good snow park on site, there are also many attractions for kids, equipment rentals, ski schools and numerous bars and restaurants.

For whom?

Hintertux is a dream destination for skiers and snowboarders . Great views, excellent conditions for driving all year round and great infrastructure mean that if you decide to spend your vacation there, you will not regret it.

I highly recommend this hotel, especially to skiers. It is located right next to one of the slopes and one of the cable cars. Fantastic conditions - beautiful interiors, cozy room. There is a swimming pool and SPA on site. The big advantage is that the price includes both breakfast and dinner. And I must admit that the food served there is delicious and diverse.

I have very fond memories of my stay at the Madseiterhof guesthouse. It is located in the town of Tux, about 2-3 km from the glacier. It offers really good conditions. The price includes both breakfast and dinner. The view from the room to the mountains was stunning!

I chose this hotel mainly because of its proximity to the cable car to the Hintertux Glacier. The facility has a very high standard (3 stars). Various themed evenings are organized here. So if someone is looking for entertainment, in theory they won't be bored here. The conditions are really okay - the room was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable.

This is quite a large hotel, one of its greatest advantages is its location. It offers a vast mountain panorama. It looked magical in winter! There is a ski bus stop next to it, so you can easily get to the ski lifts. The hotel has a swimming pool with thermal water (this is what its name refers to). We really enjoyed all the meals.
