The road ends at the Tourist Center on Wzniesienia im. Emperor Franz Joseph. From there, you'll see Grossglockner as well as Glacier Pasterze below. There are several hiking trails in the area, also short and fairly straight. Visit e.g. the Wilhelm Swarovski. These areas are also famous for a large number of marmots . Remember to watch out for sandwiches or other food, as clever animals are eager to steal them.
For whom?
The Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse ride will be a real treat for fans of road trips and amazing views. A visit to the Pasterze Glacier is a great option if you love mountain views, and also if you plan to trek in the Alps.
