Grossglockner is Austria's highest peak at 3798 m above sea level . It is quite challenging to climb. You need the right preparation and equipment. The road ends at the Tourist Center on Wzniesienia im. Emperor Franz Joseph. From there, you'll see Grossglockner as well as Glacier Pasterze below.
