Djerba is a small (514 km²) island located in the Gulf of Gabes. In this relatively small area, you will be able to admire both the landscape and the cultural mosaic. On the one hand, Djerba is a desert area, as well as a sensational coastline and wonderful, idyllic gardens and fields. On the island you will also find several places where traditional buildings have been preserved.

Noteworthy is the Midoun (the second largest city of Djerba) and Kallali , famous for its clay, beautiful ceramics. The truth is, however, that Djerba is primarily a holiday destination, and tourists are attracted there by long beaches with fine sand . Palm trees, turquoise sea, birds flying overhead, a gentle breeze - these are perfect conditions for a holiday rest.

For whom?

Are you planning a vacation in Tunisia ? Consider staying on the island of Djerba. Why? Because you will find there one of the most beautiful beaches in this country and an excellent hotel and gastronomic base. During a break from resting on the coast, you will be able to visit local towns or lose yourself in the rustic atmosphere of the island's interior.

Hotel Djerba Orient

We liked the Orient Hotel very much. Very close to the beach, about 3 minutes walk. There is a swimming pool, a garden and a quite intimate atmosphere. Very good WiFi throughout the facility. Spacious apartment, with a very comfortable bed and nice furniture. Tasty meals.

My wife and I decided to rent an apartment to enjoy a bit more privacy and not stay in a huge hotel. Everything you need is provided. Nice kitchen. Everything was cleaned and neat. Close to the city center. We recommend!

Iberostar Mehari Djerba

I spent 5 days in this hotel and overall I was very pleased with my choice. It has a huge garden with palm trees. There is also an outdoor swimming pool complex (there are even slides). Lots of animations, helpful and friendly staff. Cleanliness is very important here. Price-wise very OK.
Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Djerba

Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Djerba

The hotel has a brilliant location - on the seafront, and as a result, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding area. A lot of recreational areas around. The beach is right next door, there is also a large swimming pool. SPA, unfortunately, has to be paid extra, and it's expensive. So I ended up not using it. But apart from that, the hotel is a big PLUS.

Seabel Rym Beach Djerba

For an all-inclusive holiday! The hotel offers great conditions for relaxation. Excellent food, good, undiluted drinks, top-notch service. A beautiful beach with white sand. Great pool. The hotel is a bit boho-style, but not exaggerated. Overall, I recommend it.
